Psychology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Hands-On Experience

Location: Durham
Pay: £85–£95 per day
Contract: Full-time, long-term

Just finished your psychology degree and wondering what’s next? If you’re curious about behaviour, development, and emotional wellbeing, this role puts theory into practice.

We’re working with supportive schools looking for Psychology Graduates to join as SEN Teaching Assistants, supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and additional needs.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups

  • Helping children regulate emotions and behaviour

  • Working alongside SENCOs, teachers, and therapists

  • Building trust, routines, and confidence

Perfect if you’re considering:

  • Educational or Clinical Psychology

  • Speech and Language Therapy

  • Mental health or child-focused careers
