Have you recently Graduated from University and wondering what route to go down now? 

Do you feel that you support students with the core subjects to help improve their education? 

If you said yes this role may be for you!

 

As a graduate tutor you will be supporting students with their education and assisting students with understanding and learning new skills and knowledge. The students that you are assisting may have struggled with education in the past, which is why you will need to be engaging and motivating within the role. 

You should be confident with core subjects such as English, Maths, Science and be willing to undertake a short training course to be able to deliver lesson as per Government guidelines. 

We ask that you have a degree and a understanding of curriculum. You may be working in a 1:1 basis or with small groups.  

 

The ideal candidate will- 

- Have excellent communication skills 

- Be engaging 

- Will be able to plan lessons and deliver them to national standards

- Be educated to Degree level 

- Be able to support students who may have Special Educational Needs

- Be proactive and supportive 

 

Due to the nature of the role all Educators are required to undertake a clearing process before work can commence. This process includes-

- Police Checks

- References for the past 3 years 

- CV covering the last 10 years

- Completion of a Safeguarding course

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
