We’re working with a range of welcoming secondary schools across Newham who are keen to bring in graduates to support learning, build confidence in the classroom, and gain hands-on school experience. These roles are ideal if you’re considering teacher training, an ECT pathway, or just want to see if teaching is your thing before committing.
You’ll be working alongside experienced teachers, supporting lessons, small groups, and individual pupils, and getting a real feel for secondary school life. No two days are the same, but that’s half the fun.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting students across KS3 and KS4 in lessons

Working 1:1 or in small groups to boost confidence and progress

Helping to keep pupils engaged, focused, and on track

Gaining valuable classroom experience ahead of teacher training

Becoming a familiar, positive face in the school day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
