This Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant role offers full-time classroom experience across KS1 and KS2.

Protocol Education works with Primary Schools across Gateshead, supporting pupils with extra classroom help.

The role will involve:

  • Supporting learning across KS1 or KS2 classrooms

  • Working with pupils who need extra encouragement

  • Helping teachers deliver lessons smoothly

  • Supporting routines, transitions and behaviour

  • Building strong relationships with pupils

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is a recent or soon-to-be graduate

  • Has experience with children, tutoring, coaching or mentoring

  • Is positive, calm and reliable

  • Is considering a career in education or SEND

  • Has the right to work in the UK
