Protocol Education are seeking enthusiastic and passionate graduates to work in SEND schools across Sutton. If you studied Psychology, Social Sciences, Education or Sports, and have a passion for working with and supporting children with students with Speciall Needs, you have the skill set that we are looking for.
The Role:
Working as a Teaching Assistant you will work at a range of SEND schools providing support for students with additional needs in order to ensure that they’re getting the best out of their education and are given an equal opportunity to succeed outside of the classroom.
The schools: Like previously mentioned, you will work with multiple SEND schools across Morden and Sutton with a range of different needs (ASC, PMLD, SEMH, SLD to mention a few) while following the main aims and ethos’ of the schools. No matter which school you attend, you will be trusted to ensure the safety, confidentiality, and progress of the pupils.
The Successful Candidate:
Whether you have studied Education, Psychology, Sociology or something completely different, your transferable skills are required! As an individual you will be outgoing and confident in your abilities to provide the best outcomes for your students.
You must be adaptable, motivated, and committed to providing a caring and exciting learning environment where children are valued as individuals are challenged and enabled to reach their full potential.
Although not essential, extra qualifications in training in Manual Handling, Special Needs and Personal Care are desirable.
