Your Role:
As a Graduate SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of students with SEND. Working closely with teachers and other staff, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing tailored one-on-one and small group support to students with various needs.
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of creative and engaging lessons.
- Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students can thrive.
- Supporting students with their social, emotional, and communication skills.
- Helping implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to the SENCO and teaching staff.
- Collaborating with external professionals and attending meetings as necessary.
What We’re Looking For:
- A recent graduate with a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Psychology, Social Sciences).
- A strong desire to work with children and young people with SEND.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
- Enthusiasm, resilience, and a proactive attitude in challenging situations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
