This is an exciting opportunity to gain invaluable experience working in schools across North Durham, while exploring a future career in teaching, education, SEND or educational psychology.
Working through Protocol Education, you will have the chance to support pupils in a wide range of educational settings, including mainstream primary and secondary schools, specialist SEND schools, and alternative provisions. Locations include Chester-le-Street, Stanley, Consett, Sacriston, Tanfield Lea, Pelton, Burnopfield and Lanchester, among others.

Minimum availability of 3 days per week during term time

Graduates available 3 days per week will typically work in day-to-day or cover supervisor roles, gaining broad classroom experience

Graduates available full-time will have the opportunity to work in SEND and specialist settings, supporting pupils with additional needs on a more consistent basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
