A Newcastle secondary school is urgently seeking a graduate learning support assistant to work from September 2021 until July 2022. There is a possibility the position could be made permanent for the right candidate.
The school is located within easy reach of the A1 and the city centre. If successful you will join a large learning support department, that is central to the success of the school. You will work with KS3-KS4 pupils with a range of special educational needs to support them to access a mainstream curriculum.
This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates who hope to have a career in education such as teaching.
Experience of working with children is desirable but not essential.
