Salary: £85 - £100 Per day - in line with AWR after 12 weeks.

Are you a soon to be graduate based in or around Westminster who is considering a career in teaching?

Are you looking for a years experience in the classroom before applying for your PGCE?

Protocol Education are currently looking for passionate Graduates to work in mainstream Primary Schools in Westminster.

As a Graduate TA, you will be supporting children with a range of different learning needs.

Predominantly you will be supporting children with Autism. Some of which may be non-verbal.

No previous experience is required for these roles but a keen interest in education is vital.

Any experience working with SEN however is extremely beneficial, either professionally or personally.

You will be supported throughout your placement by Protocol and the schools SLT. Regular training will be provided by the school and you will have access to a wide range of CPD through Protocol Education.

Job Duties:

  • Supporting the lead teacher in delivering lessons and activities
  • Assisting with classroom management and student supervision
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties
  • Preparing and organising educational materials
  • Assessing student performance and providing feedback

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Education preferred but other degrees also considered

Working Conditions:

  • Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
  • Classroom-based role with potential for outdoor activities
  • May involve standing for long periods and occasional lifting of educational materials
  • Working in schools local to Westminster

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
