Graduate Learning Support Assistants

Are you a student, recent graduate close to West London with an interest supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities?

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated graduates with an interest in going into Teaching in future to work in a variety of roles within Primary schools across the West London in areas like Hounslow, Ealing and the Greater West London borough of Hillingdon.

If you are looking for a job that is a far cry from your nine to five office job, where no two days are the same then this is the role for you.

Whether you are working on a one to one basis with a child who needs additional support, taking groups of children to boost their knowledge or covering classes in an area you excel at. Working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant will provide you with the skills and experience to start your career in education while also helping children to get the most out of theirs.

You will be working as part of a team, getting the opportunity to work in a truly rewarding environment. Working in a primary school you also get the added benefit of a varied national curriculum so as well as supporting with the core subjects such as English, maths and science you will be able to enjoy physical education, history, art and drama with children who will be learning these things for the first time and seeing the world through fresh eyes.

We are looking for graduates with bags of energy, a positive can-do attitude and at least a 2:2 in a degree in any subject. Ideally you will have some experience of working with children whether that’s extracurricular of volunteer work to demonstrate a passion for working with children.

You need to have a positive a proactive attitude and be flexible and adaptable, these positions can be challenging and will require real passion and dedication but they also provide a rewarding career where you make a difference every day in a Childs life, where you can see and be a part of real positive change.

We work closely with Schools across the West London who are looking for people to support children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities which can have an effect on their learning and development.

As such these children may need extra support whether that be through providing targeted interventions or being a positive and nurturing influence. Helping them to get the most out of education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
