Graduate Learning Support Assistant – SEND and SEMH
Location: Sunderland
Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

We are recruiting a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with SEND and SEMH needs in an education setting.
This role is ideal for graduates looking to gain hands-on experience before pursuing a career in teaching, psychology or education.
You will support pupils emotionally and academically throughout the school day.
Key responsibilities:
• Supporting pupils with additional needs
• Working 1:1 and in small groups
• Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour
• Assisting with learning activities
• Building positive relationships with pupils
This role is ideal for someone who:
• Holds a degree in any discipline
• Is interested in education or SEND
• Is calm, reliable and reflective
• Wants meaningful classroom experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
