Graduate Learning Support Assistant

We’re working with welcoming primary and secondary schools across Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland who are looking for Graduate Learning Support Assistants. You’ll be supporting pupils in and out of the classroom, helping them stay engaged, build confidence and enjoy learning again.

No two days are the same, but that’s part of the magic.

£90–£110 per day
Full-time and part-time options available

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting pupils one-to-one or in small groups

  • Helping teachers keep lessons running smoothly

  • Working with children who may need a bit of extra encouragement, academically or emotionally

  • Building positive relationships and being a calm, reliable presence in the classroom

This role is a great fit if you

  • Are a recent graduate, any subject welcome

  • Are considering a career in teaching, psychology, SEND, youth work or education

  • Have experience with children or young people, formal or informal

  • Are patient, proactive and not afraid to get stuck in

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
