Position Overview:
We're on the lookout for a dedicated and passionate English Teaching Assistant to join our team this September. Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued and empowered to express themselves.
  • Contribute to the development of instructional materials and resources that enrich the teaching and learning experience in English language and literature.
  • Assist in assessing assignments, providing constructive feedback to students, and monitoring their progress over time.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
  • Possess or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certification, prioritizing the safety and well-being of students.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, showcasing a mastery of the English language.
  • Radiate a genuine passion for literature, language, and education, driven by a desire to inspire and empower students.
  • Exhibit the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and students in a positive and supportive manner.
  • Previous experience working with children or young people is advantageous but not essential.
