Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons specifically for female students

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and guidance for improvement

  • Design tailored learning plans to meet the needs of individual learners

  • Coordinate and oversee extracurricular sports clubs and school events

  • Keep accurate records of attendance, performance, and behaviour

  • Work closely with colleagues and parents to support students’ academic and personal growth

Essential Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) OR significant experience teaching secondary-aged pupils as an Unqualified Teacher

  • Degree in Physical Education or a related discipline

  • Previous experience delivering PE lessons at secondary level

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of the national PE curriculum

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to inspire and motivate young people

  • Strong organisation and time-management skills

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

  • PGCE specialising in Physical Education

  • Experience working with a diverse student body

Working Arrangements:

  • Full-time role on a temporary contract

  • Some evening and weekend work required for extracurricular commitments
