Qualified Geography Teachers – North Bristol

We’re supporting a number of secondary schools across North Bristol who are looking for skilled Geography teachers to join their teams. If you enjoy helping students understand the world, ask thoughtful questions, and make links between people, places, and environments, there are some strong opportunities available.

We’re recruiting for both short-term cover roles and longer-term positions that include planning and marking. Whether you want flexibility or a consistent role where you can fully embed yourself in a department, we’ll help you find the right fit.

What the roles involve

  • Teaching KS3 and KS4 Geography, with A-level opportunities in some schools

  • Delivering well-organised lessons that support progress and engagement

  • Working closely with Humanities or Geography departments that value teamwork

  • Planning and marking where required for longer-term roles

  • Creating a calm, structured environment that supports positive learning

What the schools are looking for

  • QTS and strong subject knowledge in Geography

  • Teachers who communicate clearly and set high expectations

  • Steady behaviour management and a professional presence in the classroom

  • Ability to build good relationships with students and staff

  • Flexibility to teach across a range of year groups

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
