We’re looking for an engaging Geography Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Barnsley. You’ll bring the curriculum to life, spark curiosity about people and places, and help students see how geography shapes their everyday world.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience welcome but not essential)

  • Designing lessons that make physical and human geography engaging and relevant

  • Using technology, discussion, and real-world examples to inspire learning

  • Contributing to curriculum development and fieldwork opportunities

  • Tracking progress and supporting every student to succeed


What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • A Geography or related degree

  • Strong classroom presence and positive behaviour management

  • Passion for helping students understand the world around them

  • A collaborative, can-do attitude and a love of your subject
