The role:

  • Enhance the Department’s repository of educational materials for Geography instruction and contribute to the creation of resources catering to students of diverse abilities and proficiency levels.
  • Participate in the development, assessment, and review of curriculum plans for Key Stages 3, 4 & 5 in alignment with Geography.
  • Strategize and assess educational content in adherence to the department's guidelines and policies.
  • Offer collaborative teaching assistance within the classroom as needed, fostering a supportive team environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Ability to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4; A-level experience is advantageous.
  • Passion for geography and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
