A well-regarded secondary school in Enfield is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join its successful Humanities department. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential KS5 teaching available for a suitably experienced candidate.

The Role

  • Deliver high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).

  • Plan and teach engaging, enquiry-based lessons aligned to the National Curriculum and GCSE specifications.

  • Prepare students effectively for GCSE examinations, ensuring strong progress and attainment.

  • Use assessment data to inform planning and close learning gaps.

  • Contribute to fieldwork opportunities and subject enrichment activities.

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour for learning in line with school policy.

  • Work collaboratively within a supportive Humanities team.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Strong subject knowledge across physical and human Geography.

  • Experience teaching GCSE Geography (AQA or Edexcel preferred).

  • A commitment to inclusive practice and safeguarding.

  • High expectations for student achievement and behaviour.

  • A reflective practitioner committed to ongoing professional development.
