The role

A forward-thinking secondary school is seeking a Geography Teacher to join its Humanities department. The role includes teaching across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach KS5 for suitably experienced candidates.

This is a great opportunity for a teacher who can bring geographical concepts to life, develop critical thinking, and support pupils in achieving strong GCSE and A-Level outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons

  • Prepare students effectively for GCSE (and A-Level where applicable)

  • Monitor and track pupil progress

  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment

The ideal candidate

  • QTS (or equivalent)

  • Experience teaching Geography at secondary level

  • Strong subject knowledge across physical and human geography

  • Confident classroom and behaviour management
