A secondary school located in Hackney are looking for a Geography teacher to join their Humanities department in September 2023. 

As a Geography teacher you will help students to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them, raising the attainment and achievement rates for students and follow the polices and procedures of the school.

The successful candidate must have a deep passion for Geography and be committed to achieving excellence in all areas. 

Previous Experience of teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 and 4 is desirable, if you are Newly Qualified Teacher, you can still apply for this role. 

The Humanities Department in this secondary school consist of different subject areas who are staffed with skilled and effective teachers who promote a fun and engaging learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Up to date knowledge of the National Curriculum
