My client located in Barnet are looking for a committed and dedicated Geography teacher on a long term basis. My client is located closely to local transport links, you will based in a new building with fantastic facilities. You would be joining a team that is committed to providing staff with high quality and professional development.

The desired geography teacher will be expected to maximise student’s performance whilst implementing necessary teaching techniques to support students who require extra help. Working solely within the humanities department you can be expect an abundance of support from the current faculty.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an experienced Geography and Citizenship teacher with great subject knowledge
  • Be a qualified teacher with QTS
  • Have experience of teaching Geography and Citizenship in a previous role
  • Have an updated CV
  • Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high
  • Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example
  • Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies
  • Hold a valid and current DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
