Protocol are currently seeking to appoint an outstanding Geography teacher to join a friendly and dynamic school. 

The role is at a mixed secondary school based near Bristol. The school is a forward-thinking establishment and welcomes colleagues who are enthusiastic and ready to offer their ideas to create powerful and effective learning experiences for all students.

 

The school wishes to appoint an experienced Geography teacher to join a thriving faculty that achieves excellent examination results. The school believes that working there is different from working at other schools and are always prepared to go the extra mile for their students to succeed. They have many unique aspects and one of them is the degree to which they care for their staff. As such, the school is looking for someone who can plan and teach humanities lessons to KS3 & KS4 that follow the agreed departmental schemes of work and teaching guidelines.

The successful candidate must:-

Be an outstanding classroom practitioner 

Demonstrate recent experience as a Geogrpahy teacher - 

Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high. - 

Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example. -

Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
