About the Role
We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support learning across the curriculum in a primary specialist environment. This is a varied role working with pupils of different ages and abilities, helping them to engage with lessons, build confidence and grow their skills in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Support classroom teacher with lesson delivery and learning activities

Assist pupils individually or in small groups to reinforce learning content

Maintain classroom routines, behaviour expectations and support positive learning climate

Help with classroom resources and displays to support learning visually

Aid in assessing pupil progress and feeding back to the teacher
Person Specification
-
Some experience in schools or working with children preferred, but not essential

Strong interpersonal skills; approachable, patient and encouraging

Good organisational skills; able to help manage materials and tasks in the classroom

Flexible attitude; able to adapt to varying class needs
-
DBS clearance or willing to obtain

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
