Protocol education is recruiting individuals who adapt well in new environments and are happy with daily flexible work to be cover supervisors in secondary schools across Newcastle and north Tyneside. We are also recruiting for individuals who are aspiring teachers to be full-time general cover staff. 

General cover staff oversea the class during the absence of the teacher. They are expected to manage behaviour and ensure a positive work environment is maintained. Currently across secondary schools in Newcastle there is a high demand for daily cover.

This role would work well along side final year studies, volunteering, or part-time work. This is the perfect opportunity for individuals who wish to begin their career in education or who plan on going into education once they have finished their studies. It will also be good experience for aspiring teachers prior to completing your teaching qualification.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
