We are seeking a confident and experienced HLTA to join a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Loughton. This role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step and play a key role in teaching, learning, and pupil progress.

The Role:

  • Delivering planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher

  • Leading small group interventions across the primary curriculum

  • Supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH, and additional needs

  • Working closely with teachers to support planning and assessment

  • Acting as a positive role model within the classroom and wider school

The Ideal Candidate:

  • HLTA qualification or significant experience working at HLTA level

  • Strong behaviour management skills

  • Confident delivering learning across KS1 and/or KS2

  • Proactive, organised, and adaptable

  • Passionate about supporting pupil progress and inclusion

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
