Protocol Education is working closely with friendly, supportive primary schools across South Bristol to support Freshly Qualified Teachers (FQT/ECT) looking for their first or early-career teaching role.

The role

You’ll plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum, with support from experienced colleagues and teaching assistants.

You’ll create a calm, positive and inclusive classroom where children feel safe, supported and ready to learn, developing strong routines and positive relationships along the way.

You’ll assess progress, adapt learning to meet a range of needs, including SEND, and work as part of a collaborative team that values wellbeing, reflection and professional development.

A bit about you

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), including FQT/ECTs
• An interest in primary teaching across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• A positive, calm and nurturing approach
• Willingness to learn, reflect and develop your practice
• Good communication and relationship-building skills
• A team player who’s keen to get involved in school life

What we’ll need to clear you

• Passport
• Two proofs of address, such as a driving licence, utility bill, council tax statement, P45 or P60
• CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained
• Two years of references, including education references
• OSPC if you’ve lived overseas for three months or more in the last five years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
