Full-Time Unqualified SEND Teaching Assistant

I am working alongside a lovely school in the London Borough of Bromley and WE NEED YOU! This school supports Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. We are looking for someone with SEND experience, ideally SEMH and/or Challenging behaviour experience, that can support these students both academically and socially. You will be responsible for acting as a positive role model, supporting within the classroom and during social time and also helping the classroom teacher with everyday activities.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have an up-to-date DBS check that is on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Have a Safeguarding Certificate or be willing to complete a FREE course supplied by us.
  • Be available to work during term time during the hours of 8am – 4pm.
  • Have the correct Right to Work in The UK documentation.
  • Have experience working with SEN needs, ideally SEMH.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
