This could be the role for you….

A lovely school in the heart of Croydon are looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work alongside their students who have Special Educational Needs. You will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher alongside other members of support staff both inside and outside of the classroom.  It is essential that you act as a role model to these students, supporting them both academically and socially as well as promoting positive behaviour at all times.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have the Right to Work in the UK.
  • Have strong experience within Special Educational Needs – Ideally, SEMH, Challenging Behaviour, ASC etc...
  • Have the correct Safeguarding training or be willing to complete a FREE course provided by us
  • Have the correct DBS documentation or be willing to apply for one

Please note that all applicants will require the correct training, qualifications and/or experience to be successful within this role. You must also hold a valid Right to Work in the UK document.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
