We’re searching for a compassionate, skilled SEND Teacher to join an outstanding SEMH provision in South Shields. This role is all about connection—helping pupils manage emotions, re-engage with learning, and rediscover confidence in themselves.
You’ll:

Plan creative, flexible lessons that meet individual needs

Work closely with support staff and therapists

Use restorative and relational approaches to behaviour

Experience in SEMH or PRU settings is a real bonus, but we welcome applications from teachers with a strong interest in SEND and a willingness to learn.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
