Protocol Education is working closely with an exciting primary school in South Bristol to recruit a caring, reliable Learning Support Assistant for a permanent role in Year 4, starting after half term.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys supporting children day to day and being part of a consistent school community. You’ll be working closely with pupils across KS2, specifically in a welcoming Year 4 class, offering 1:1 and small group support to help children build confidence, stay engaged, and overcome barriers to learning.

You Will Be:

  •      Comfortable supporting children ages 8 and 9
  •      Patient, calm and supportive in the classroom
  •      A friendly and approachable presence
  •      Happy to adapt and support where needed
  •      Understanding of the children’s needs (including additional needs)

What We Need to Get You Cleared:

  •      Passport
  •      2 proofs of address (e.g. driving licence, utility bill, council tax, P45/60)
  •      CV covering 10 years of all work or education, with gaps accounted for
  •      2 years of references (including childcare - if applicable)
  •      OSPC if you lived overseas for 3 months or more in the last 5 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
