What the role involves as a Cover Supervisor
You’ll step into classrooms across different subjects, guiding pupils through lesson materials and keeping the learning environment focused and positive. You don’t need to plan or mark work, just bring a steady presence and clear communication.

What your day will look like as a Cover Supervisor
- Delivering pre-planned work confidently and clearly
- Encouraging pupils to stay engaged and complete tasks
- Supporting behaviour expectations across the school
- Communicating feedback to staff after lessons
- Moving between different subjects and year groups
- Building strong, respectful relationships with students
What makes you a strong candidate as a Cover Supervisor
- Confidence speaking to groups of pupils
- A calm, positive approach to behaviour
- Good communication and flexibility
- Experience with young people is useful, but not essential
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
