This is a part time - 0.5/0.6 role.

We are looking for a teacher of languages to teach French across the full ability and age range including Sixth Form.  The ability to teach another language is desirable.

This is an ideal opportunity for a new entrant to the profession although equally attractive to a more experienced colleague.  We have a positive commitment to supporting Early Careers teachers and a comprehensive programme of staff development.

You will be joining a school which values the teaching of languages and has an international ethos and is committed to developing ambitious, resilient and principled young people who have developed social, creative and linguistic skills to move confidently and communicate effectively beyond their own communities. To this end, all staff support the international curriculum and the extensive visits and exchanges programme.

In 2022, French students achieved GCSE result of 9-7 36%, 9-4 82%, Alps 3.   A Level results *A-B 80% *A-E 100%, Alps 3. IBH 7-5 100%, 7-3 100%, IBS 7-5 33%, 7-3 89%.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
