Pay: £90–£110 per day (dependent on experience)

Protocol Education is working closely with an OFSTED-rated Outstanding secondary school in Enfield to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their Inclusion Team from January 2026.
About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within a mainstream classroom environment. You will work alongside the SENCO and teaching staff to ensure pupils are fully supported academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key responsibilities include:

Providing 1:1 and small group support in literacy, numeracy, and social skills

Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

Adapting lesson materials to meet individual learning needs

Encouraging positive behaviour and active engagement

Acting as a positive role model to build confidence and independence

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is motivated, empathetic, and committed to inclusive education.

Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people (education, care, youth work, tutoring, or coaching) is highly desirable

Qualifications: Degree or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous but not essential

Skills: Strong communication skills and a good standard of English and Maths
