Protocol Education are currently working with schools all across Hackney who require short term support on a day to day basis.

All work will be set and it will be your role to deliver the work left to a high standard and ensure a good level of learning takes place throughout the day.

Strong classroom management is vital for this role.

No two days as a supply teacher are the same and we are looking for teachers who embrace this.

You will be required to cover classes across the school.

Job Duties:

  • deliver engaging lessons to primary school students
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years experience teaching in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Effective classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with SEN students

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a primary school setting, following the school calendar and timetable. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate school events and meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
