Do you have experience as a Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching assistant or other experience working in childcare? Are you currently thinking about changing your current role and looking to progress your career?

Protocol Education are actively looking for flexible support staff to work within our schools who are looking to place the right people in schools where they will be valued and can push to become permanent in their positions, and develop themselves, alongside the students.

Teaching Assistants and SEN Assistants are a key member of any school and Protocol Education look to place fantastic educators in the right schools for them.

About the role: Daily rate £70-80 per day with both full & part time positions available

Work on a 1:1 basis with students who require additional support and to provide general classroom support; located around Newcastle, North Tyneside, Sunderland, South Tyneside, Gateshead 

The ideal candidate must:

• be able to communicate effectively with other staff and students, monitoring developments and progress and bring an ambitious personality to the school environment

• be composed, with the ability to manage challenging behaviour and situations.

• have transferable skills and a genuine interest in supporting young people with SEMH needs

• be able to show a patient and understanding attitude towards all of the students’ needs and circumstances

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
