EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant – Children’s Centre

Help little learners take big steps

We’re looking for a caring and committed EYFS Teaching Assistant to support young children with special educational needs at a children’s centre in Bradford. This is a role where patience, creativity and warmth make a world of difference in helping children thrive at the very start of their school journey.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN

  • Helping children develop early communication, play and social skills

  • Supporting routines that build independence and confidence

  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and parents to ensure every child gets the right support

  • Creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel secure and ready to learn

What we’re looking for

  • Experience working with children in EYFS or early years settings

  • Understanding of SEN, with a calm, patient approach

  • A creative and positive personality to make learning fun and accessible

  • Someone who sees every small step as a big achievement
