EYFS Teaching Assistant – January 2026 Start

Contract: Full-time, long-term
Start Date: January 2026
We are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bradford this January. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping young children develop confidence, communication skills, and a love of learning.
What the role includes:

Supporting children aged 3–5 with early literacy, phonics and play-based learning

Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging activities

Providing one-to-one and small group support
-
Assisting with observations, assessments and creating a positive learning environment
About you:

Experience in an EYFS setting or Nursery is highly desirable

Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
-
Warm, patient and proactive approach
-
Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
