Protocol Education are currently working with an OUTSTANDING primary school based in Enfield.

The Headteacher of this lovely primary school is currently looking for an experienced CACHE L3 Teaching Assistant to work in KS1.

Suitable candidate will need previous experience in supporting pupils with SEN and in KS1. This role is a 1:1 role in year 1 supporting a student with SEMH.

As a CACHE L3 Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Support the activities of individuals or groups
  • Establish and maintain relationships with individual pupils and groups.
  • Contribute to individual Education Plans as appropriate.
  • Support pupils during learning activities
  • Promote pupils’ social and emotional development.
  •  Contribute to the health and well-being of pupils.
  • Provide support for bilingual/ multilingual pupils
  • Support children with specific needs , for example, sensory and/ or physical impairment, cognitive or learning difficulties, behavioural, emotional and social development needs, communication and interaction difficulties.
  • Support pupils with literacy and numeracy skills
  • Support pupils to access the curriculum.
  • Dealing with the personal care needs of children where appropriate in line with the guidance of the local authority

The school is located very close to the local train station and is 10 minutes walk away from the nearest bus stop.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
