Protocol Education are currently working with nurseries based in and around Enfield. We have seen a rise in the number of EYFS Teacher vacancies and wish to recruit a pool of EYFS Teachers to supply to local nurseries and schools in Enfield.

Job Description

As an EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to children in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that supports children's development. Your role will involve planning and implementing a curriculum that meets the individual needs of each child.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
  • Assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents and carers
  • Manage challenging behaviour effectively
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment

Expectations

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  • Experience in working with children with challenging behaviour
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of children

Education

Degree in Education or relevant field

Experience

Previous experience working as an EYFS Teacher

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

Additional training in Early Years Education

Working Conditions

This is a full-time contract position based in Enfield, Greater London. Working hours are in line with school hours. You may be required to work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
