EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant – Autism & Speech Support – Uxbridge – £90–£105 per day

Are you experienced in EYFS and confident supporting children with SEND?
This warm, nurturing primary school in Uxbridge is looking for a committed EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism, speech & language delays and sensory needs in Nursery and Reception.

This role is ideal for someone who understands how early communication develops and enjoys helping young children feel safe, understood and ready to learn.


⭐️ What you’ll be doing:

  • 1:1 support for a child with Autism (EYFS)

  • Supporting early communication through play, modelling and visuals

  • Helping pupils with sensory processing and emotional regulation

  • Using timetables, routines and structured activities

  • Supporting small SEND groups when needed

  • Working closely with a very supportive SENCo and EYFS teacher


⭐️ You MUST have:

  • EYFS experience (Nursery or Reception)

  • Previous SEND experience

  • Understanding of Autism and early communication needs

  • A calm, patient, nurturing approach

  • Reliability — this school values consistency

Desirable (not essential):

  • Autism Awareness training

  • Experience with speech & language activities

  • Knowledge of sensory strategies
