EYFS Teacher – Long-Term Role

Chelmsford, Essex

We are seeking a passionate and qualified EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Chelmsford on a long-term basis.

This role is ideal for an EYFS practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality early years education and is looking for consistency, continuity, and the opportunity to become part of a supportive school community.

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, child-led learning in line with the EYFS framework

  • Create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment

  • Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development

  • Observe, assess, and track progress using EYFS assessment methods

  • Work collaboratively with EYFS staff, leadership, and parents

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, wellbeing, and safeguarding

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have experience teaching in EYFS within a UK primary or nursery setting

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child-led pedagogy

  • Be enthusiastic, caring, and adaptable

  • Be seeking a long-term EYFS role
