Primary schools across Croydon are looking for EYFS Learning Support Assistants and 1:1 Support Staff to work with pupils in Nursery and Reception, supporting children at a crucial stage in their development.
These schools are warm, inclusive environments where early years support staff are truly valued.
What your role will look like:
- Providing 1:1 or small group support in EYFS settings
- Helping children develop early communication, social, and emotional skills
- Supporting routines, transitions, and learning through play
- Offering gentle support with regulation, confidence, and independence
- Working closely with EYFS teachers, SENCOs, and wider support teams
This role could be perfect for you if you:
- Have experience in EYFS, nursery, or early years settings
- Are nurturing, patient, and naturally playful in your approach
- Understand that learning in EYFS doesn’t always happen at a table
- Have experience with additional needs (speech and language, ASD, sensory needs), or a strong desire to learn

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
