Experienced SEND TA – Peterlee Area

You’ll be joining a specialist environment where pupils thrive when the adults around them are calm, consistent, and knowledgeable.
Your role will include:
• Supporting pupils with autism, SLD, PMLD or SEMH needs
• Using communication tools like PECs, visuals or sensory regulation strategies
• Assisting with personal care where needed
• Helping create a safe, structured, positive classroom environment
• Working closely with teachers, therapists and support staff
You’ll bring:
• Solid SEND experience
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills
• Patience, humour and emotional resilience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
