Job Title: Experienced Level 2/3 SEND Learning Support Assistant
Locations: Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland
Salary: £83–£100 per day (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant with a Level 2 or 3 qualification? Schools across Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland are looking for skilled LSAs who bring calm, consistency and genuine care into every classroom.
You’ll be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them feel safe, understood and ready to learn.
Your role will include:

Supporting pupils with autism, sensory needs or communication challenges

Using structured routines and clear, simple language

Providing 1:1 and small-group support

Implementing personalised learning activities

Encouraging independence through small-step progress

You hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

You’ve worked in SEND, autism or SEMH settings

You’re confident with visual timetables and sensory strategies

You bring kindness, patience and strong relationship-building skills
