Position: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred.
  • Compassionate Nature: Patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting students' individual needs.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Able to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and ready to adapt to different learning environments and needs.
  • Background Check: Must pass a DBS check.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Learning: Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored educational activities.
  • Individual Support: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs.
  • Classroom Assistance: Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor Progress: Track student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Encourage Independence: Promote self-confidence and independence among students.
