Are you an experienced Exams Officer who knows that exam season success is all about precision, calm heads, and brilliant organisation?

We’re working with a welcoming and well-run secondary school in Tower Hamlets looking for an Exams Officer who can confidently take ownership of the full exams process and keep everything running smoothly, even during the busiest periods.

The role includes:

  • Managing the full exam cycle, including GCSEs and internal assessments

  • Liaising with exam boards, senior leaders, invigilators, and external agencies

  • Ensuring full compliance with JCQ and awarding body regulations

  • Coordinating exam timetables, entries, access arrangements, and results days

  • Overseeing exam rooms, seating plans, and invigilation schedules

  • Maintaining accurate records and handling sensitive information with discretion

  • Supporting students to feel calm, informed, and supported during exam periods

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience as an Exams Officer in a secondary school

  • Is confident working with exam boards and regulations

  • Brings exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and time management

  • Stays calm under pressure and thrives during busy exam seasons

  • Communicates clearly and professionally with staff, students, and parents

  • Is reliable, proactive, and takes real pride in getting things right
