About the Role

You’ll be responsible for coordinating and supporting exam processes across KS3, KS4, and KS5, working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, and invigilators to ensure exams are delivered accurately and calmly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the administration of internal and external examinations

  • Preparing exam timetables, seating plans, registers, and exam materials

  • Ensuring all exams are conducted in line with JCQ regulations

  • Liaising with awarding bodies, staff, students, and parents where required

  • Organising and supporting exam invigilators

  • Managing access arrangements and supporting students with additional needs

  • Secure handling, storage, and return of exam papers and scripts


What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as an Exam Officer or strong exam administration experience

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

  • Confident communication skills and a calm, professional approach

  • Good working knowledge of JCQ regulations (or willingness to learn quickly)

  • Experience working within a school or education setting is highly desirable
