We are seeking reliable and conscientious Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools across Sunderland during examination periods. This is a vital role ensuring that exams are conducted in line with awarding body regulations and school policies.
Key Responsibilities for an Exam Invigilator
- Set up examination rooms in accordance with exam requirements
- Supervise students during examinations to ensure a calm and orderly environment
- Distribute and collect examination papers and materials
- Ensure exam regulations are always followed
- Respond appropriately to queries or incidents during exams
Assist with the start and end of examinations
Requirements for an Exam Invigilator
- A professional, calm, and attentive approach
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately
- Strong attention to detail and good timekeeping
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided

- This role is seasonal and hours will vary depending on exam timetables
- A valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
