Secondary schools in South Tyneside are recruiting Exam Invigilators to support students during formal assessment periods. This Exam Invigilator position involves supervising examinations and ensuring regulations are applied consistently.

You will play an important role in supporting fair and structured examination processes.

Key Tasks:

  • Arranging exam rooms in line with official instructions

  • Monitoring students for the duration of examinations

  • Ensuring exam conditions are upheld at all times

  • Collecting, securing, and returning exam materials

  • Escalating concerns or incidents to the appropriate staff

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong organisational and observation skills

  • Ability to work within defined rules and procedures

  • Dependability and flexibility with working hours

  • Willingness to undertake training as required

  • Previous experience is not essential, as guidance will be provided

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
