Protocol Education are working alongside Secondary and SEND schools throughout Wiltshire and Swindon and looking to appoint people from an Ex-Military or Emergency Services background to take their skills and experience into an educational setting.

Role: Various, depending on experience, qualifications and skills

Hours: Full and Part time available – Usually 08.30 – 15.50 but can change depending on role

Start Date: 20/02/23

The skills, characteristics and qualities that are learned and developed throughout a career in the military and emergency services can often be transferred over to have a successful career working within the education sector. Respect and behaviour management, organisation, motivation, trust and relationship building, to name a few, are all essential to working with young people and when working in a military/emergency service environment.

Roles Available:

-          Class Teacher – Depending on qualifications (QTS needed)

-          Cover Supervisor – (No qualifications needed, only relevant experience working with young people)

-          Behaviour Mentor

-          Learning Mentor

-          Youth Worker

-          Sports Coach

-          1:1 Mentor

-          Many More

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential

-          Any previous work within the Military or Emergency Services 

Beneficial

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
